  I have gone to see Dr. Dunbar since the age of 5. He is a brilliant, lovely, and kind man. He has worked with me through several diagnosis of severe conditions, been there for easy referrals, prescription fills, phone calls, etc. He also was the doctor for my aging grandparents and throughout their transition into immobility, and nursing home care, illnesses and eventual deaths he was kind, patient, understanding, and steadfast in his care and attention. I will always be grateful for that. HOWEVER, his front office staff members are abhorrent. They are unfriendly on the phone, always answer without greeting, and with a coldness that makes you feel as though you're actually hated. I've been hung up on after being on hold more times than I can count, have been waiting in the office while watching how phone calls are handled and the negligence is disgusting. The way they make you feel, as though you don't have a right to see the doctor, or the ability to spell your name, state your needs, or call with questions, is saddening and constant. There are always the exceptions, I'll admit. But if you're judging a clinic overall, you'l be glad to wait inside of the doctors room, and leave behind the heavy false pre-tense of "customer care." This sounds harsh, but I'm truly looking at this critically, and with 15 years of experience.
